PHP Developer – CLOSED

Timisoara, Romania

For one of our clients, a technology company, we are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join their team in Timisoara, Romania.

The right candidate writes code that he/ she is proud of in a timely and scalable way and has a proven experience with any of Symfony, Zend or Laravel frameworks.

Technical Competence:

• University degree in Computer Science or related
• Experience in a similar position or area of expertise
• Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms and Object Oriented decomposition of software, its limitations and advantages
• Fundamental programming skills: keeping code DRY, focused on readable and maintainable code
• Proven experience of PHP & PHP frameworks: Symfony and Zend; Desire to perform as a top PHP engineer
• Basic knowledge of technologies: SQL, message queues, template engines, HTTP, REST etc
• Good knowledge of basic frontend technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Ajax, jQuery etc
• Basic knowledge of release management: continuous integration, TDD & QA
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Familiar with Agile development, source control (Git, SVN), issue/ bug tracking
• Would be a big plus: AWS experience.
