Senior Hosting Operations Engineer – CLOSED

For one of our clients in the IT industry we are looking for a Senior Hosting Operations Engineer to join their developing team in Timisoara, Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration and administration of active network devices, including interface configuration and routing protocols
- Execute the installation, configuration and testing of required services according to specifications
- Maintains service performance and availability by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning. Troubleshooting and escalate network problems
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting a shared duty schedule
- Supporting the R&D team with the software and system requirements
- Perform access analysis and security checks
- Support local office environment
Requirements:
- Good experience working with different OS flavours: Linux, Unix, Windows
- Experience with the following tools/technologies: Apache server, Nginx, PHP, MySQL, various SMTP services, virtualisation, networking
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Ability and desire to learn new things
- Good Communication skills, multi-tasking abilities
- Good English skills (both verbal and written)
- OnApp experience is a big plus
