Accountant with Hungarian and Slovak

Timisoara, Romania

For one of our client’s Shared Service Centers in Timisoara, we are looking for an Accountant with Hungarian and Slovak (advanced level) to complete their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complete and accurate booking of Accounts Payables invoices, Accounts Receivable invoices, General ledger and Cash and bank items
  • Checking, booking of drivers expense forms
  • Responsible for providing accurate and clear account reconciliations and prepare the necessary journal entries
  • Assist in the financial reporting process
  • Responsible for the monthly closing including preparing the monthly statements
  • Preparing the payroll

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional qualifications in Accounting and/ or Finance
  • At least 2 years finance and accounting experience
  • A good knowledge of Hungarian and Slovak accounting principles, tax legislation will be viewed as a benefit
  • Fluent in Hungarian – spoken and written
  • Advanced knowledge of Slovak – a big plus
  • Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience working with SAP will be a plus
