Senior Market Research Data Analysts – Closed

For one of our clients, a very cool market research company, we are looking for several Market Research Data Analysts to complete their team in Timisoara.

As Market Research Data Analysts you are part of our Data Analysis team servicing market research consultants located in different countries all over Europe. You will play an important role in a crucial phase of the research process: the phase of data collection, data analysis and interpretation. As Senior Data Analysts you will focus on challenging market research projects for the company’s top 10 accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-launch analysis of survey design to ensure good data quality (soft launch)
• Data cleaning, data restructuring & reweighting in order to produce accurate and timely data that meets the needs of the project team
• Produce table reports containing all relevant research data in a structured way according to the specifications outlined by the consultant
• Create PowerPoint reporting for all types of quantitative research
• Support (advanced) data analysis across the entire organization, including the respective international branches
• Act as data expert and advice consultants before and during the analysis phase
• Have the expertise to take the lead in bigger project’s analysis
• As you’re getting familiar with our processes, you will have the opportunity to guide and coach junior colleagues

Your profile:

• General requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, IT, Physics, Sociology or other relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Strong interest in market research
  • Strong interest in human behavior
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Technical knowledge & experience:
  • Proven experience in Excel; experience working either in SPSS, R, Matlab, SAS or any other statistical program
• Competency profile:
  • Fascinated by data and numbers, analytical mind set
  • Accurate and striving for perfection, attentive to details
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a client oriented attitude
