C++ Developer/ Debugger – CLOSED

Timisoara

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our client’s existing debugger development team based in Timisoara, Romania.

The ideal candidate will have excellent coding skills, and the ability to understand and enhance the capabilities of the company’s products. The role will involve designing and implementing software solutions for various challenges, performing software/ hardware system integration and debug, working with internal and external teams on identifying features to be added and enhancing the user experience, investigating general and system related problems.
Required skills/ experience:

• At least 5 years relevant experience on commercial C++ projects
• Knowledge of Multi-threading strategies
• Advanced knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Programming techniques
• Previous experience in cross-platform development (Windows, Linux)
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong communications skills
• Self-motivated with strong development discipline (git/svn, continuous integration testing)
• Excellent spoken and written English

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of how debuggers work desirable
• Knowledge of the Eclipse TCF framework
• Knowledge of the boost library
• Excellent understanding of processor operation at instruction/register/assembler level
• Knowledge of git and SVN
• Experience with scripting languages (TCL, Python)
