Data Analyst – CLOSED

Timisoara or Bucharest

For one of our clients, a research company with an well developed team in Romania, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team in Timisoara or Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

The data analyst will support the team in its daily operations by:

• Working with other teams for setting up data validation rules prior to ingestion in our systems
• Set-up changes logs for the datapoints stored in internal systems
• Process ad-hoc data change requests
• Monitor and report on the datapoints changes
• Contributing to the development of the internal data architecture and data model

Qualifications:

• Master degree in mathematics or informatics
• Strong analytical skills including data QA knowledge/experience
• Excellent SQL skills
• Power BI or other BI tool skills
• Relevant (2Y+) work experience
• Strong English skills (C2 or above)
• Adaptable, creative, autonomous, solution driven personality and mindset
• Demonstrated passion for sustainability
• Good understanding of BIG DATA/HADOOP concepts and infrastructure is considered an asset
• Good understanding of financial market data and financial instruments is considered an asset
• Good understanding of corporate fundamental data and company reference data is considered an asset
