For one of our clients in the automotive field we are looking for a Regional Process Engineering Manager to be located in Timis County.
The Regional Process Engineering Manager Romania will face the following challenges:
- Coordinate all activities related to process engineering in manufacturing locations across Romania
- Manage equipment and process standardization for all locations; responsible for transfers in and outside Romania
- Develop the country process engineering structure and capabilities
- Manage capital spending, budget forecast and outlook
- Active part with initiatives in cost reduction and continuous improvement projects
Detailed responsibilities:
- Manage all process engineering activities, including the Subject Matter Expert Process Engineering Team; coordination of Process Engineering teams in manufacturing locations
- Interface with Manufacturing Excellence Center
- Manage the capital spending, budged and forecast/ outlook, monitor and control the spending, including monthly reporting
- Plan and execute appropriation and investment requests
- Responsible for new projects implementation through equipment definition, ordering, delivery, installation, commissioning and training
- Manage and coordinate equipment transfer between locations; manage all installations of equipment and equipment related services
- Manage the Process Operating Standards implementation; plan, execute and monitor POS audits
- Monitor all active and manage all idle equipment; coordinate inter-plant activities and manage the process engineering resources
- Actively participate and support the new process and equipment developments; involvement in infrastructure needs for new plants, if the case
- If the case might be, active part of the steering committee for government grant projects (provide investment business case, spending planning, assure compliance with the grant terms, conditions and laws)
- Encourage excellence culture and act as a role model
- Look for continuous improvement opportunities and generates suggestions
- Develop and/or sponsor innovative approaches and ideas
- Manage the Human Resources: define Objectives and Personal Business Plans (PBP’s) for direct subordinated team; design Integration plan for new employees

The Profile:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.S./ B.A.); with 5 years specific experience in Engineering, Process Engineering is an advantage
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering (electronics), Industrial Engineering or Management
- A professional background preferably in the wiring harness or large automotive industries
- Advanced manufacturing experience within a multi-country environment, including hands-on experience in managing process engineering operations
- Deep knowledge of contemporary manufacturing processes; experience in a high-matrix international environment
- Strong leadership experience
- Advanced English skills (written and verbal)
- A background in standardizing processes and implementing common approaches
- Ability to work with large teams and bring people together
