For one of our clients in the IT industry, we are looking for several PHP Developers at all levels of experience (young graduates, juniors, experienced developers or seniors).

This is an exciting opportunity to learn and build your experience as the company aims to build on their success to date as they continue to evolve their product range and systems. The role involves developing web applications to support future business growth and improved system performance. This is a hands-on role requiring the successful candidate to be actively involved in all current and future development projects. As a junior developer, you will play a key role in ensuring the company software is updated quickly and accurately in line with the company strategy and the changing demands of our partners. You will be placed on a team with an experienced developer who will assist you in your work to ensure you realise your potential. As you progress through the company, if successful, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility in a variety of fields such as development, architecture, team leadership and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s leading edge web comparison systems
• Ensure that all software developed meets business requirements and follows company’s standards and processes
• Provide content for functional and technical documentation
• Review and constructively comment on the software, testing and documentation of peers
• Apply technical expertise to investigate and resolve customer software issues
• Work closely with the business and QA teams locally and globally

Key Requirements:

• Experience of web development technologies such as PHP, MYSQL, Java, HTML and JavaScript (or willingness to learn for young graduates)
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and programming ability
• Clear, accurate and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritised own workload and adhere to deadlines
