Hardware Development Engineers

Timisoara, Romania

For one of our client’s developing R&D Center, with many new and interesting projects, we are looking for several Hardware Development Engineers to be located in Timisoara, Romania.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform complex activities related to design of electronic circuits for equipment and systems
• Design electronic circuits for mixed signal boards (experience in: analog, digital, SMPS, RF)
• Participate with other team members in activities like board layout, mechanical, thermal, power systems design and SW integration
• Provide technical support and instruction to junior staff and help solve in-service engineering problems
• Design for EMI/EMC compatibility for product qualification
• Operate with CAD (required: Cadence – Orcad, PSpice; preferred but not essential: Ansys HFSS)
• Analyze system requirements, capacity, cost and customer needs to define optimized hardware and software architectures
• Use electronic equipment and instruments to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards and applicable codes and regulations (Oscilloscope, Network Analyser, Spectrum Analyser, EMI Tester)
• Prepare and maintain required documentation (schematics, BOM, product specification, test specification, test report, simulation report)

Requirements:

• A degree in Electronic Engineering and 5 years of work experience
• A good understand existing architectures and designs of boards based on microcontrollers architectures
• A good collaboration with customers and suppliers worldwide and a teamwork attitude,
• Soft Skills: Self-motivated, Well organized, Proactive, Good communication skills
• We expect you to be a good communicator in English. 30 % international travel required.
