Research Assistant – CLOSED

For one of our clients, an IT company, we are looking for a Research Assistant to join their research & development team in Timisoara.

Responsibilities:

• Algorithms tuning and optimization
• New algorithms development
• Prototype development using algorithm specifications
• Conducting and analyzing experiments
• Technical/ research reports writing
• Implication in technology transfer between research and development teams

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in research or development
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering
• Good knowledge of C, C++, Matlab
• Knowledge in machine learning is a plus
• Knowledge in computer vision is a plus
• Experience in OpenCV is a plus
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Basic experience in software development, testing and debugging
• Basic experience in statistical data processing, XML, SQL, Ms. Excel
• Ability to document research and development work
• Excellent communication skills and team work abilities
• Attention to detail
