Buyer – German – CLOSED

Timisoara

For one of our clients in the automotive field, we are looking for a Buyer with German knowledge to complete their team in Timisoara, Romania.

Main responsibilities:

• You will have in responsibility a portfolio of material or services from the Indirect Materials and Services department, managing the purchasing activities related to it
• You will have to evaluate and negotiate offers regarding material & services and individual costs, on company needs
• You will be responsible to achieve the cost reduction targets and supply chain optimization
• You will deal with the requests coming from internal users to have the best conditions in terms of total cost of ownership and terms and conditions related to terms of payment, delivery and cost based on the technical requirements needed
• You have to negotiate the best terms of costs and cash flow of the portfolio, in coordination with the Material Group Manager
• You will have to find new suppliers or develop the existing supplier base and ensure they fill in our standard documents for supplier creation.

Your Qualifications:

• Technical or Economical background (University degree preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing or Sales
• Negotiation skills based on proven experience in managing a material portfolio
• Analytical thinking and strategy oriented
• PC knowledge: MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Foreign languages: German at least at a B2 level, English – working competence is a plus.
