Finance Manager Romania – CLOSED

On behalf of our client, a Polish manufacturing company, we are searching for a Finance Manager for it’s new venture, close to Arad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being a business partner to the rest of the management team (challenging)
• Introduction of the best organisation practices to the new business
• Development of the local reporting system (both financial and operational) – start-up
• Implementation of the financial policy of the company
• Responsibility for the functioning of the internal controls
• Realisation of the budget and the mid-term business plans
• Managing the daily cash-flow of the firm
• Monitoring of the capital expenditures
• Preparation of the yearly budgets
• Providing the reliable financial information and KPIs to the management group to facilitate daily managing of the business (introduction of culture of work with KPIs and numbers)
• Ensuring reporting compliance with the Romanian regulations
• Organising financing of the local company’s activities and maintaining relations with the banks
• Preparation of the monthly reports to the HQ in Poland
• Formulation of the company’s strategy with the rest of the management
• Analysing and managing the product profitability
• Ensuring proper cash transactions
• Preparation of the financial statements of the company
• Assessment of the investment projects
• Improving the understanding of finance in the organisation
• Contacts and cooperation with the auditors, banks, insurance companies, HQ and tax authorities in Romania
• Supervising the work of the financial and accounting, IT
• Optimisation of tax policy

Key Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (ideally with some experience in the international structures)
• Experience of introduction of the culture of work with numbers
• University graduate
• ACCA membership will be an advantage
• Fluency in Romanian (native or near native)
• Very good English (written and spoken)
• Conversational Spanish will be an advantage
• Ability to work under little supervision
• Ability to work in a matrix structure
• Experience in an environment with more than one owner will be an advantage
• Experience in a start-up organisation will be an advantage
