For one of our clients in the IT&C industry, we are looking for a Service Rollout Manager to complete their team in Timisoara, Romania.

The Service Rollout Manager (SRM) is responsible for managing and driving the deployment and configuration team and is the keeper/creator of all the necessary processes in the deployment and configuration phase of a project at web fb88. This role involves generating and implementing workflows, forward planning, efficient distribution of workload among team members, and clear communication with other departments/teams. The most important task is to manage the deployment phase of the project actively and to coordinate from inception to execution to production handover. The SRM must have a clear understanding of the technical solution delivered to the customer and be fully involved in the transition from ordering through to acceptance in a production environment.

The SRM must demonstrate the ability to think critically through a process, anticipate challenges, prepare solutions in advance and identify inefficient processes and make recommendations for improvement.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the performance of the deployment and configuration team
  • Set clear objectives, evaluate progress and instil a high-performance culture with focus on team work, service and communication excellence
  • Set-up, manage and improve standards and procedures within the team
  • Ensure working practices are well defined and operational with minimal disruption using technology to improve efficiency as appropriate
  • Manage the team and individual performance, technical and skills development
  • Encourage open communication between team members, suggesting and driving forward ideas about how the team can work more effectively together
  • Cascade business objectives and targets to the team
  • Review daily priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved
  • Ensure high quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all service arrangements
  • Forward plan of team’s activity at a daily / weekly / monthly level
  • Reporting performance on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings covering all areas from Quality, Progress and Reporting
  • Track troubleshooting requirements and schedule follow ups

 

General requirements:

  • Good knowledge of project management (PMI advantage) Organizational skills
  • Communicate and proficient in use of online collaboration platforms: (Jira, QB, ZD etc)
  • Allocation of work among involved parties
  • Teamwork and excellent communication skills
  • Writing of project-related documentation
  • Clearly communicates project results to project team and leadership
  • The ability to interact with the customers and their peers

Candidate profile:

  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Previous experience in a Service Provider or Managed Service business
  • Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines without cutting corners
  • Follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations
  • Experience of driving change initiatives in a service environment
  • Experienced and conversant in Operational Schedules
  • Able to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with commercial departments such as product development
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience improving and developing the knowledge & skills of others
  • Able to work on own initiative to develop the team
  • Knowledge of ICT (services, infrastructure, enterprise software)
