Technical Support Engineers – Closed

Timisoara, Romania

For one of our clients, a technology company and their multinational support team, we are looking for several Technical Support Engineers in Timisoara.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Process tickets from internal or external clients
  • Install and configure applications
  • Debug system issues parsing OS and application logs, debugging PHP scripts
  • Identify and solve software, hardware, configuration and connectivity issues in the system
  • Report any application bugs to the development team
  • Write shell scripts
  • Configure and debug Linux cronjobs

 

Qualifications:

  • License in IT
  • Good knowledge in Windows and Linux configuration
  • Basic PHP scripting knowledge
  • Availability for a flexible working schedule, including weekends
  • Autonomous and resourceful
  • Fast learner, proactive
  • Organized
  • Team player
  • Proven judgment to evaluate importance and impact of bugs
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Strong communication abilities (English)
