For one of our clients, a technology company and their multinational support team, we are looking for several Technical Support Engineers in Timisoara.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Process tickets from internal or external clients
- Install and configure applications
- Debug system issues parsing OS and application logs, debugging PHP scripts
- Identify and solve software, hardware, configuration and connectivity issues in the system
- Report any application bugs to the development team
- Write shell scripts
- Configure and debug Linux cronjobs
Qualifications:
- License in IT
- Good knowledge in Windows and Linux configuration
- Basic PHP scripting knowledge
- Availability for a flexible working schedule, including weekends
- Autonomous and resourceful
- Fast learner, proactive
- Organized
- Team player
- Proven judgment to evaluate importance and impact of bugs
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
- Strong communication abilities (English)
