Accounting Team Manager

Timisoara, Romania

For our client, a shared service centre in the Automotive industry, we are looking for an Accounting Team Manager, who will coordinate the AP, AR and AM local and international teams.

 

Tasks/ Area of responsibility:

  • Plan, schedule, direct, and monitor day-to-day activities
  • Ensure compliance of internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Define standard processes within Finance Department
  • Harmonization and standardization of processes
  • Documenting and preparing documentation for the new activities transferred or updating the already existing one
  • Designing take over processes from other entities
  • Work with superior functions in coordinating regular requests
  • Communication with external and internal parties in response to inquiries
  • Review of reports and performance metrics to ensure issues / discrepancies are resolved and an even workflow distribution is maintained
  • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish departmental goals, and provide guidance to staff on department-related issues as well as completing employee performance reviews
  • Assist with identifying process efficiency gains
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests and spearhead special projects as needed.

 

Qualification/ job profile:

  • Economical background
  • Advanced English level, German language is a big plus
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or coordinator
  • Able to make decision
  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
